passionfruit
Native to Brazil, the Passionfruit is native to and most largely produced in South America. The yellow passion fruit is mainly used for industrial purposes, such as the production of fruit drinks. The purple variety is less suitable for fruit drinks but is mostly imported in the Western countries as fresh fruit.
