Also known as the Chokeberry, the Aronia thrives in wet woods and is native to eastern North America.  The red, black, and purple chokeberries are characterized by their deep color and ability to create a variety of products.  Chokeberry bushes, in addition to being beautiful, are able to resist drought, insects, disease, and pollution.
